Continuous Learning: What's In It For Me?

My good friend Brian Tracy often say’s that everyone’s favorite radio station is WIIFM. (What’s In It For Me?) What’s in it for you in terms of investing in yourself and engaging in high quality on-going professional development? To fully respond you have to ask several qualifying questions. And, remember to be brutally honest with yourself.

First question: How often do I engage in activities that are specifically designed to help me improve my professional skills? Do you believe in professional development enough to continually seek out new knowledge that could accelerate you life and career? The top 20% of people are the ones earning 80% of the income. Those top 20% value continuous learning and often invest as much as 3% of their annual income in continuous improvement. They buy books, go to seminars, listen to CD, and/or watch instructional videos. People who earn $100,000 spend, on average, $3000 per year so they can keep moving to the top of those 20% earners.

Second Question: Do you believe you are capable of improving yourself just 1% per day, each working day? We have 52 weeks per year minus two weeks vacation and holidays which basically leaves us with 250 work days give or take a few. Now, if you just invested 1% of your time on those 250 work days, which is just 14 minutes per day; how much better would you be at the end of the year compared to the bottom 80% of people who do nothing? At 1% per day, you would be 250% better than those who do nothing. Are you worth 14 minutes a day? That’s just 2.5 days per year of taking yourself to school. Doesn’t seem like much does it?

Third Question: How much money do you want to earn this year? You could double your income with one skill you didn’t have before. Is that possible? YES! Let’s say you are terrible at closing sales, but you viewed a 14 minute video that told you how to approach the close and overcome any objections you may have? Do you think that could improve your success rate? It did mine!

Fourth Question: Have you been totally honest with yourself in answering these questions? Do you want to remain in the 80% of earners that are earning 20% of the income? Of course not, or you wouldn’t have read this far.

Research clearly shows that people who engage in ongoing learning will be our top producers. We have a way for you to get the help you and your company needs. iLearningGlobal is the best online learning experience and meets all of the criteria established above with low cost, 24/7 access to the absolute best business thought leaders in the world today. You Can't Build A Reputation On What You're Going To Do

So many people try their best to rush into selling their product or services without building trust with their prospects first. I see it all the time and can tell you that sales made without first building a reputation of character with your prospects does not make for return customers.

Hyrum Smith, faculty member of iLearningGlobal.tv says that “Character is the ability to carry out a worthy decision after the emotion of making that decision has past.” Watch the video below then read on.

If you found Hyrum’s message meaningful to you, then I have done my job. There is no more important function in your work than to have the propensity to act on your plans, develop real relationships with your clients, and prove to them that you are genuine over time. If you want more of these videos, I encourage you to go to this link ILG and watch another video about time management that will be sure to help you accomplish more day-to-day and over the long term.

If you would like to learn more about what I do, I would be happy to talk with you or answer any questions you may have by email. Vote Yourself Off Someday Isle!

Someday Isle

Have you ever heard someone or possibly said yourself, “Someday I’ll have everything I want?” But that “someday” never comes. Do yourself a favor….VOTE YOURSELF OFF “SOMEDAY ISLE”!!!

So many people have what we like to call “excuse-itus” or an inflammation of the excuse gland. They whine and complain and give excuses for all the bad things that happen to them. Fully 20% of the world’s population earns 80% of the income. Where do you see yourself? Have you fully envisioned a positive picture of where you want to be and how to get there?

The University of PA did a 22 year study of 350,000+ people and asked them; “What do you think about most of the time?” The answers absolutely followed what you are logically concluding. The top 10% of people thought about what they want and how to get it the majority of their waking hours. They didn’t say “someday I’ll get it” or make an excuse like “it won’t happen to me, nothing good ever happens to me.” They set sight on what they wanted and systematically and carefully planned ways to achieve it. The successful top 10% asked the question “HOW?” in order to make their dreams come true.

Top people are future oriented, they believe in idealization (positively imagining themselves fully successful in regards to God, family, income, health, and financial freedom. And, they are GOAL oriented!

How do you become goal oriented?

1. Decide what you want.
2. Write it down.
3. Set a deadline.
4. Make a list of everything you can do to accomplish each goal.
5. Organize the list and prioritize them.
6. Take action
7. Take action every day - See how important it is to take action?

You can learn more about goal setting, planning and achievement by clicking on this link to watch a video from iLearningGlobal and signing up for more free videos, an e-book on what YOU can do to make your own economy, and a free goal planning kit to get you on the road to greater and greater achievements.

Take charge of your life today and vote yourself off “Someday Isle!”

Stimulus Package Passed - What's Your Stimulus Package?

Stimulus Package Passed - What Is Your Stimulus?

Congress and our new President just passed the Stimulus Package, and with over 1000 pages of Federal Legislation I’m sure your name wasn’t actually in it. Mine either! However, for those people who are driven to achieve more there is no more perfect time to go into business for yourself! You need to stop listening to the media’s doom and gloom and start making your own successful economy.

With all that is happening right now, are you ready to take control of your own economy? Are you ready to create your own stimulus? Maybe you’re tired of working for someone else, and just maybe you have found yourself unemployed with no immediate hope for a new job. What ever your reason, in order for you to succeed in your own business you need a blueprint for success.

I found a company that has taken me step-by-step and helped me set up an internet marketing business that is generating leads every day. Before I found them, I was lucky to get a lead a month. If you have a network marketing business and want to improve it by internet marketing you should check this out for yourself.

http://www.ilgmarketing.com

It took me just a couple of days before I was generating real leads and had my first sales conversion in less than a week. Take this seriously, and you will build your business. You will create your own economy. Again, stop listening to the media about how bad things are and start assessing, designing, planning, implementing and evaluating your own business and enjoy the benefits of what that can bring to you and your family.

It is never too late to start! Join me now! Test-drive this system. If you don’t have a network marketing program you don’t need one. This will get you started. If you want a network marketing program, I can suggest two that are great additional pieces for this marketing business.

Take action and take control of your own destiny today! If not network marketing; then what? If not now; when?
